To be honest, these chinese 49cc engines are in every pocket/mini bike. 2 stroke is very temperamental, and incredibly hard to maintain. I had a 49cc pocket bike, and it got me up to faster speeds than I was comfortable with going, but I only got to ride it a few times, every time I rode it...

Any update on this? I don't see this being as suggested, but check the kill switch. Mine was fried and caused the bike to not start no matter what. Just unplug yours to see if it will work when the K/S is disconnected.
