160 probelm

hi i got a pitsterpro 160 i got it running now
just when u pull the clutch in it does work sometimes
it still wants to take off but if i pull it in a couple of times
it works is it the clutch busket goin any help thx

how old is the engine?
have you had the clutch side apart before?
checked the obvious, cable adjustment or even cable condition?

im not sure how old the engine is and never pulled the cover off
and ill check the cable
