hmm this must be a trick question...

crf style engines fit crf style frames..hmm not rocket science..

oh an chinese klx engines bolt into 99.9% crf style frames. the .1% that dont require a little bit of a grind or nudge on the frame.

but chinese klx style engines require a exhaust mod when fitting to a crf frame...

hmmm my head hurts

if you were buying an aftermarket exhaus the same time as the engine?

or do you just run the adaptor?

no klx exhaust is for klx frame..

modifing the exhaust to fit it piss easy if you have a grinda and a mig welder, other wise run the adapter that DHZ sell. but iv heard of people having issues with the adapter..

i had to grind a lifan 140 engine mount holes down a bit to get it to fit into the genuine thumpstar.

the adapters are rubbish the whole lot is complete crap.. its not easy to get the angle the pipe needs to get a flush fit.
