yeh it should be ok, just make sure for your next oil change you run some non-synthetic oil, just dont leave it too long for an oil change

Being aa 2nd hand bike, you've checked your valves ?

no I don't have the spacers? can I do it without.. I'd love to do that tonight

if by spacers you mean feeler guages, then you'll really need them to set valves properly. although, i have heard of people using tallyho packets!!

new DNM shock are not too badly priced luckily

Now way I could have over loosened it because it's hard as rock. Think it had been sitting for a while and sorta decayed a bit when I turned the dial it sorta broke in my hand. There's just a little nipple like thing sticking up which the dial sat on. Can't get the thing to turn...

If it's kicking back at you then I would say it's a big bore kit.

Looks it to me. Don't think it's a V2 head though.
