fuel injected YX/lifan 140
ok im going to toss this out there and see what type of response i get
tell me im crazy,mad or to get lost if you wish
but i got to thinking last night when i was helping a member
on car forum with fuel only ecu that he is trying to set up
now i have a old wolf2d fuel only ecu that is sitting around doing nothing
and started to think about setting it up on my bike
now i dragged out all the info i have on it and well things are looking good
the ecu will run on 6v to 24v dc so thats good the bike can power that no problems
all the ecu needs to run is to hook to the coil to get a RPM pulse so it knows how
fast its all spinning
a inlet air temp sensor thats not going to be hard to mount
water temp sensor ??? dont know as yet what to do but at worst will stick
a resistor in there so it so the ecu thinks its at a optimum temp all the time.
or may be oil temp ??? need to look in to it a bit more
the only thing i can see being a big problem is finding a throttle body
of a suitable size with a suitable injector and a small efi fuel pump
i cant see any reason why i cant set the ecu up so it thinks it fuelling
a rotary engine and all would be good
like i said you would probably think im crazy or a dreamer
so if you wish to say so tell me.
but if you a any ideas or know something i did not think of
