ye i don't think the outer rotor kits are wound as heavy as the standard rotor stator.

yeah i think your biggest problem will be finding enough power to run all the electrical's...
all the electrical's will draw a sht load of amps and thats where it gets tricky...

as for injector,TPS and throttle body...yeah look at the cbr125/150's... maybe give akunar an email he'll be able to pass on the good contacts as the cbr's are the craze over there in thailand

the most the ecu will draw is 1 amp
the injector dont know till i find one

but im having a hard time finding info on
the stators. and there and the max power they
can put out
might have to get some regs and do some testing

i found a cbr 125 TBI on ebay some where and they look like
they will be a winner there 26mm throat so would be a good
size to start with
but that is the only info i can find on them

but for now i have modded a standard manifold
that i have modified to fit a injector to :D:D (pic's soon)

i will just use the carby to meter the air with the TPS turned off
so the ecu only uses the MAP and air sensors + rpm to calculate fuel

once i prove to myself that i can do it then it wont be so hard
to spend the money to get it done right

but things are starting to look real good here

so keep on brain storming guys

cheers
mick

i was talking to the mechanic down at braaap
he gave me some good info and is keen to see this up and running

Jack thanks for the MegaSquirt links and info
i was thinking about MegaSquirt the other day

cause if i was to get something up and running here
and it all works well and is practical to use and not more problems
then its worth
then the i could do a custom MegaSquirt setup and do a small run of kits
but thats a long way off yet

im hoping to get the bike started today with a nasty home brew manifold and bits :D:D
i have ran into a problem with the way the coil and cdi work on the bike
is not what what i wanted to hook the ecu to

fingers crossed i have that worked out and i can at least get the bike started:p

Sounds like a good project/ Honda claim they achieved a 10% power and economy increase with their EFI monkey. I remember seeing a complete used engine with all the efi gear from one of these monkeys for sale, I wanted it so bad but they had some ridiculous price on it.

Here’s a link to the efi monkey for anyone who has not read about it:

all the new bikes from honda suzuki kawaski (dont know about KMT and yamaha) are now fuel injected, I wonder when if ever the chinese companies will start making bikes fuel injected:D

its only a matter of time, my son.

well it my not be as long as you think :D for me at least :D

i just got the ecu picking up the rpm of the bike (i will be able to sleep now)
i wasted a lot of time making it harder then what it was

now i seen how easy it was, it would not be to hard to do fuel and spark :p

still a bit to do now before i try and start it but its looking real good

you sir are a god. That thing sounds like a tank!!

ha ha ha, thats bloody awsome :)
good work, be keen to see/hear how much more performance it offers.

thanks guys
it dose sound a lot louder on the vid then it dose in real life

its running rich as all hell the ecu is still set up to fuel a 1600cc 4 cyl
and none of the sensors hooked up
so the tune is way out of wack

but it works so time to start spending money to get a few custom bits made
and see how well she runs and how stable and reliable it is

but till then will try get the tune abit cleaner and get it powered from the bike
and ride it :D:D:D

the better vid would of been me jumping around like a mad man when she started the
first time now that would have been a good vid for ya all to see

good work mate.. great to see you have it running...

simple observation tho, thread title says lifan 140 but that is a YX140..

no biggie obviously just thought you may wana know..

my bad only just got back in to the minni's after a 2 year lay off
and i have no clue as to what is what anymore
