hi i am new to this forum but not new to bikes. i used to ride pocket bikes but have moved to pit bikes because my mates have them so i want to ride with them.
anyway to the bike.
i have bought this atomik pit bike it is has a 125 ducar motor. the issue is with the head stem set up it appears its missing a nut under the top triple clamp and only has one on top of the triple clamps to tighten the head stem bearings.
what i need to know is weather they have seals to seal the bearings. also the order of parts on the head stem ie spacer/seal/bottom bearing/top bearing/seal/nut/triple clamp/washer/nut.
also where to buy the parts in adelaide or by any chance some one on here might have the parts i need.
any help would be greatly appriecated
thanks Paul

p.s im not sure the model atomik i have so if anyone knows please let me know.

some bikes run that setup, 1x nut on top.
just make sure you loctite it on.
pretty sure there are no seals in the headset bearings either.

what parts are you needing?
also what area are you in?

cheers,
craig

hmmm, i havent seen a bike yet with no bearing preload nut!!!

they dont have seals, tho some models have dust covers..

at a guess the atomik moto x would run ball race bearings and not tapered bearings..

this is what you need
