Hi :) As I joined the forum, thought I'll make a thread for my bike :) The picture is abit outdated and the colors are reddish, but I don't have better pictures for now, so here it is :)

Soo, you probably want to know what i've done to it...

Running 80/100 Mitas in rear and 90/90 Mitas in front, really good grip :)
ASV levers
Scott grips (really good i recommend, strong ends that wont break first time you fall)
Switched from lifan 150 to Zongshen 155 (totally different engine and runs much better)
Switched from stock vm24 mikuni carb to vm26
DID 420 Racing Chain (lasts much longer than some other)
07/08 small diameter flame pipe for smoother power transfer (less "sharpness" on low rpms and goes nuts from mid range)
Stomp slip-on exhaust (i find my bike doing more power with that one)
YCF long trail rear shock (325mm length, needed to reweld rear end to make it fit, but is much better now)
Putoline 7.5 racing suspension oil in front, much better to drive now
Camshaft chain 1 tooth to early side to open intake earlier, also runs better now.

Future mods?
I want to do a snorkle for my pitbike, just like dunny29er, sorry for using your picture!

As i'm quite an heavy dude, might port cylinder head later on and make it high compression :) I'll try to update this thread as soon as i change anything and as soon as I have updates on my races!
Here's my 2013 Trophy series standing, Alo Sepp is my name:

Future mods?
tb v2 head (if you have the cash takey retainers and rockers) and a 184 kit (177 in the 155's stroke) and you will be able to pull from bottom to top of the power no problems if you really want to you can go larger too you just need to split the cases and case bore it out
gpx forks :)

very nice bike!
+ reps for sharing your pics and videos too.

so are you running a standard head, manifold etc, unported ?
another upgrade you should consider, adding a bigger/higher lift camshaft, better springs/retainers etc ?

with the Mitas tyres, do they make semi slicks tyres for car racing, the name sounds familiar ?
i reckon a mate has bought a pair of them last year, when he was over visiting his relatives in Argentina for a month.
they are pretty cheap, and grip very well on the bitumen roads and drag strips, cost about $100 AU for the pair.
compared with other race tyres we can get in Australia costing around $200 each

i've subscribed to this thread too
cheers, craig

zwebx:
We have few guys in Estonia who do stock cylinder heads on their own (port, make them high compression and so on). I won't be doing any of that crazy mods right now, as I'm going to have to leave pitbiking aside in month or so, leaving to big town for school, studying car mechanics :) so i'll keep on training when i arrive home and will see in future where it takes me :)
my67yr:
Thank you! Standard everything except exhaust and carb, unported. As i told to zwebx i'll considder that stuff later on :), right now it pulls like a freight train for me and i don't want to overtune the engine for two reasons:
1)It will start to break down much sooner, clutch baskets already go fast when i ride hard on sand...
2)If the engine is too tuned and my skill is not so good, i can be fast on straights but i lose the speed in curves, thats something crucial..
Mitas makes every kind of tyres, mine are cross ofcourse :)
Front is a mitas c-21 or c-20 i believe, pit cross. dayum that thing is wide.. :D theres not much between front fork guards and the tyre.. :D
This is the front tyre:
c-21.jpg

Rear mitas is a c-20 as well, just for rear.
This is the rear tyre:
c-20d.jpg

They cost like 35 euros both and here mitases are being sold at bigger motocrosses in racer's parking lots, theres a tyre bus that has huge piles of different tyres for all sorts of needs :D by bigger motocrosses i mean estonian nationals and big show events like Race for Travelling Trophy Of Väino Leok, where Evgeny Bobryshev has won the trophy for 3 years in a row now.. :D

Thanks for subscribing! :)

Edit: as you can read, the dimensions are wrong on the pictures, but thats the picture website gave me when i searched for my dimension tyres, atleast the profile is right.

awesome looking bike man, just wondering do you know or have a link to whoever did the snorkel? i want to sus it out :) thanks

click on the Orion link in my signature, i used a snorkel on that bike too when i had the 150 Lifan in it.
pics are in post #39

Tried looking for it, couldn't find it, maybe im just blind :D Would be cool if you could directlink me, i'm definetly interested :)

i see you found my Orion thread,
the tubing i used on my Orion was originally the vent ducting from a cars' heater box, up under the dash.
it is a concentina tube, and was made of thin alloy flexable tubing/ducting, so had no chance of sucking in on itself.

just remembered too,
i used some plastic flexible tubing on my sons Dune Buggy too, when i relocated the air filter from off the back of the carby, up and onto the roof.
that tubing was for grey water, old washing machine/laundry water, to drain it into your garden.
it is quite flexible as well.

Well washing machine pipes are reallly small, probably more like vaccuum cleaner pipe, 42mm is what i need... i think those vaccuum pipes are sold standalone too, hardware stores probably ?

my Keihin PWK copy carby, the OKO 28mm (semi flatslide carby) had a 42mm o/d on the air filter side too,
same with the OKO 26mm

Okay, any bet i would find 42mm diameter vaccuum pipe from hardware stores? :D

Tomorrow going to race at Abja in Expert class!

Track video (mate's gopro)

Also, I have loads of old photos about me racing i could share if someone wants to see :D

nice bike mate !!:)love the racing too, quick question so can you just start a thread for your bike separately too post pics of your bike thread and thro up wat mods you've done and future mods n pics ??sorry guys am still a fresh fish on MR lol...

@my67xr will add them in a second!
@REKSONESKE thanks! i didn't get quite what you were trying to say about threads.

Also, about today's Abja race. 7 racers in Expert class, i was 6th. I haven't been riding for 2 weeks and those guys were really fast so i think i'm satisfied. First race i was really slowing down my friend, as he had no place to pass me, but i had my own race to run. Second race i let him off already at start, he will upload gopro videos for sure, i will link them as soon as i see them. Also there were few photographs, if i get pics ill post:)
EDIT: Not long until i got an random pic from me at abja :) Made by my class sister with phone so nothing really, professional pics coming later i guess:)

Next one is quite OT but i hope its fine:) I used to have a russian 45cc 2 stroke moped that i tuned, different crankshaft, bigger piston, scooter reedvalve intake with carbon fibre reeds, 17.5mm dellorto carb, high comp cylhead, expansion chamber exhaust, electron ignition. Estimate RPM 12-13K, one guy from Imavere has a moped that hits 14800.

wow, lots of different riding places there !
awesome, thanks for sharing your pics again.!!

i like that indoor track, practice all year
the snow looks fun too,but possibly too cold for me , i have never even seen the stuff in real life.

Hehe thanks! :)

Well we use antifreeze fuel additives so throttle doesnt get stuck, because its -30C at winter plus wind at 100kmh when your riding, we also cover up whole engine from front, else the engine doesn't even obtain it's optimal working temperature.
