I will be doing the gasket mod and choke mod, Apparently there great mods anyone done these to confirm there well worth it??

I would suspect so , I dont have a stock carb to do it on but. The inlet is preety small on the stock carbs so opening it up would work well. Can always reverse the mod if you dont find it worth while

Yeah I'll give It ago this weekend but the gasket mod Is abit out of my league I suspect..

in the stock carbies the choke , even when it is off is blocking like half the inlet where the air gets sucked through , so when you take it out it lets alot more air through

its got nothing to do with the air filter , its inside the carby where the air passes through , do the choke mod and get a air filter...... if you have a look at a stock carby you will be like , oh i see how it would do something......

Choke mod on my stocker did absolutely nothing....just made it harder to start when its cold haha. Might work for other people, but no power gains for me. In theory it's obviously a great idea, but i ended up putting my choke back in again.

choke mod

i told u it does absolutly nothn if any thing turn ure air srew out or run a bet acarby or air filta dunno were use got the idea of doin the mod

So I'll ask you this time aspect did you dyno it after doing the mod??
If not you have absolutely no idea whether it really did or didn't do anything at all? There no way you can tell without a dyno I don't care what you say...

^^^Did you dyno it?

Ok sorry man i didnt go Dyno my Stocker...forgot to get it done hey.

It doesnt bother me, i'd just rather give people the right info before they go stuffing around with there bikes for no reason at all..........But Go ahead and take your chokes out everyone....do whatever 50freak says.

dude i have the choke mod on my crf. there is a difference sure its not a huge difference but its there i think i can do a good comparrison as i have a stock xr and a the crf to compare it to

Oh well if you guys think it helps thats sweet............
