CNC isnt a type of metal, it is the machining process that is used to produce a product. CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control. The Thumpstar frames are Alloy as mentioned in the first post and were made using CNC.

if you ran a lifan 150 and are going to change to a z160/z155/z175/yx150/yx160 then you definitely need an exhaust. the original one can be modified in 20minutes with a grinder and a mig welder..

the daytona will bolt straight in with same exhaust..

the only klx style engine that will bolt straight in with your lifan 150 exhaust is a yx 150/160 with a dirtmax head..

crf and chinese klx frames are the same engine bolt pattern..

dude fck the z160 (thats actually 155) if your gonna slapp down $600 for a $265 engine get the daytona 150. bolt right in, reliable as hell has tons of very cheap engine upgrades if you want to drag race it. dont get caught up in the "glee club" pitster bs hype, those engines are junk.

if you have so called "been" building engines for 16y and claim the z155 is a good engine your blind. the tranny needs about a 1/8" shim and the noodle gears are like butter. why dont you explain to everyone why you think they are so great? because they are $300? please your as bad as the "glee" club in utah. lol 4y ago i was road racing, never rode a mini in the dirt till 2007. whats that gotta do with you talkn shit and have nothing to back it up. hands down the daytona is light years better than the z and yx crap bottom line. we have allready proved it with tons of wins in the pro class in our neck of the woods.

everyone else pays retail, which is 600aud or so...

99% of the 155's over here are fine and problem free, and just like any other engine once you start adding HP problems start to arise..
im thinking even more now that it is the wankers turning the spanners over there as to all the problems with the 155's..

daytona may be light years ahead but different engines for different applications.

ill say it again.. no one is going to put an engine in their bike that is worth more than the bike itself.
specially when you can get them going stronger for 1/4 of the price.. money talks bullsht walks.
