Hey guys I just picked up a new bike yesterday it's a psto 140.

It's basically brand new the last owner had only run it in, and all his mates sold their bikes so he sold up too. I must say it's completely different to the pitpro 125 I had for 6 years lol.

Have any of you bought from ooracing either? Im liking this http://www.ooracing.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=1544

for 397.86 AUD? + postage?
they can keep it i can buy valve seat cutters for $350 and do all my bikes with that...

it will benifit just from a port and polish and when you wear out this top end chuck in a couple extra cc's

Hahaha I don't think I would have actually bought it. I'd chuck in a 160ho motor.

Are there any worthy upgrades for the motor beside Carby (im getting one) it has a 1/4 throttle already

Big bore exhaust, a good performance ign coil and lead and a uni-filter and make sure you have a good quality oil in it for starters.

psto tl160 was a pretty good bike, deffently an upgrade over a pitpro 125. much easier to ride if the pitpro was the crf style.

i'd do bars, tyres, some spare parts like levers so you can just change them if you drop it

doesn't look like it has the same hubs as the 160 or lxr but put some longer bolts with a nut and loctite on the end in the rear hub where the sprocket is. they come loose really quick and easy. can do alot of damage

Yeah man I've seen alot of guys doing that with the lxr ummm this has lock tabs on there I don't know how much it will help haha.

maybe a cam.. somthing like that.. you could if you really wanted get the midsized roller rocker from tb but as you said may aswell go for a yx160

Yes Takegawa, CHP, Kitaco or what i use a NGK Racing Coil and lead you can get this one from ebay i think its around $70 free post.

is your 140 head running the Z40 cam, if not there's a very good gain alone. And ooracing are great to deal with and absolute specialists in this stuff.

how do i tell if my bike has a z40 cam? If i was to buy an exhaust will it have to be a pro circuit t-4?

yes and no, your bike can have one but your engine is the wrong style head.
your 140 is a crf style head, pro circuit is for klx style. on the yx160 it will fit

did you see the nitro circus daytona 150 for sale on gumtree adelaide ?
