Hi Guys
Well it is my birthday coming up and the missus never gets me anything good so I have decided to give myself a new bike.
There is a bike shop a few doors down from work that specialises in pittys and I really like the PSTO 140 they have in stock at a cracking price but I have been looking on here and I can not seem to find much info on them. Does anyone know much about these bikes?

While looking around and doing a search on the PSTO I found a whole heap of threads suggesting the VERT 160 and the LXR 160 out of these 2 bikes what is the better bike and why?

So what to get PSTO140, VERT160 or the LXR.

This one is a hard decision for me as this is going to be the last pitty I buy for a while so it has to be a good one.

If you've been doing your research you'll know by now that a lot of people will recommend the LXR... If you want to save a few dollars get the Vert. Forget the 140 ;)

yer PSTO had ridiculous high monthly sale aims for an Australian market,

Deff Vert or LXR it may be hard to find parts in the future for PSTO

A lot of pitster parts will fit onto the PSTO tho yeah? There wouldn't be too much that would be irreplaceable I thought?

all 3 are from the same chinamans factory if you ask me... lets not get fancy and pretend they are engineered to perfection in some high tech european or jap facility...
The chinese pump these things out and sell em to whoever wants to re-badge them and on sell...

LOL, I'm with Dynamic, I am 100% confident that I'll be able to get parts for my PSTO... Especially seeing as the Vert IS a PSTO :p

Aside from that, they're a pretty big company in China and you can order anything you need via the internet!

Not sayin theyre not good at all, cause they are the best retail pitties I think.... just recon they all come from the same place, and are essentially the same bike with variations on some parts...

Motovert, pitsterpro etc dont have design teams and engineers working on their own stuff, and it just happens to look the same as the others..., they just buy from chinese factories like the rest of them, and make some minor changes...

mate i have a psto 140 now changed to a big bore 184 and i love my psto all lxr part fit on the psto so parts are not hard to get i think the psto is a better feeling bike thats why i brought mine its what u like mate and like i said part from lxrs and pitsters fit on psto

I'm stuffed if I could get the PSTO to turn as good as the LXR which surprised me considering the forward seat position on the PSTO.

most already know this but the lxr is also made in the same factory as these 2..

either 3 are a great choice but id still go the lxr..

also noticed on the motovert web site that they advertise steel rims, typo maybe? never seen one in the flesh so not sure!!!

I think the LXR's have better quality stock suspension. I got hold of a PSTO 140 which looks exactly like the LXR's and Verts but the suspension was all non branded stuff unlike LXR which I believe is DNM rear and gpx fronts yeah?

Go the LXR!! ive had a few other china minis, and by far the LXR is the best hands down!, its like going from a s@*tpro to a crf250! but def the lxr or the vert.

Cheers guys
The PSTO is out of the question now. I thought it was a great bike but after looking over it there where a few things that I did not like. Only simple things but I think if I am paying the bigger bucks for a chinese bike I want something a little better.

So I have narrowed it to the LXR or VERT160 and as everyone has suggest on here the LXR is leading the race and I particually like the nitro circus edition. But the vert is 600 bucks less and obviously that is something to think about as well.

In my previous post I stated that the pice difference between the VERT and the LXR is $600 this is not true the price difference is $500. Plus there is freight on the VERT as I can not pick it up. So a realistic price difference of $400.
So not much difference so I think I am just going to gofor the LXR. Besides it will be bought from DHZ and the guys there are great to deal with.

Here is the one that I am going to grab at the end of the July.
2012 PitsterPRO LXR 160cc Nitro Circus Edition

It just looks sweet and the linkage rear is going to be sensational.
