I think i see a bug on the side of the pole the car did not hit, so yep, it saved a life LOL We have heaps of em here in Carntberra, one particular set on the main drag that links either end of canberra, is at the bottom of a hill on the other side of an over pass, I have seen so many accidents happen right threre through the years as people fly along and at the last second hit the brakes and then you get a nice consitina of cars rear ending one another. Another great one they (the govt) put in recently was a point to point camera, which picks your average speed for that trip which works really well on a straight peice of road, but this strip contains 3 round abouts??? Dont think they thought it through too well...
