Yep definitely used a torque wrench to the correct torque. But I'll check them again before I take the head off. I might do it up like 5 nm tighter and then run it for a bit and re-tighten the bolts.
Yea you never locktight head bolts.

sometimes the cylinder base gasket will compress a bit, once you have cycled the engine a few times (hot/cold)
that can be enough to lose some tension on the head studs/nuts

Yea thats what i was thinking. I will take the head off tomorrow and change the gasket over, Oh how i love that bulk lot. got another 14 spare head gaskets.
