the starter motor is located under the barrel
and it wont start in gear
any info or links would be great

Lol that narrows it down to 90 percent of 110s, pics are best, and grab the engine number from behind the gear shifter

LMAO :five:

Matty's right mate, Throw up a pic or two.

Where abouts in Maitland are ya? im in East Maito. Always looking for more members to ride with :)

Up side is, they're pretty much all the same. 52.4x49.5, 23/20 head, wide ratio 4-speed, reasonably stout clutch and higher volume oil pump. TB 54mm jug & slug really wake them up. Even just the domed 52.4 piston is a decent upgrade.

<a href="http://s108.photobucket.com/albums/n6/fast_80/?action=view&amp;current=110314_155313.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n6/fast_80/110314_155313.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

short answer on the irk is no it wont work. It can be made to work but you will have to remove all of the electric start stuff, incuding the housing on that side of the motor that holds the starter motor, etc

so it it do able

and what do i need to do it

the stater motor is only there to fill the hole at the moment ive gutted the wireing back to basics any way

basically you need you remove the outer and inner covers as well as the stator setup.

then the irk will go straight on. and you can use a standard cut away type magneto cover.

only down fall is that the new magneto cover wont have a full seal around the engine. and will be open to mud and water.. but i spose if you wanted to try some bush mechanics you could run a nice fat bead of silicon where the gap is..

thanks for that is the gap only from the cover or will the case leave a gap too

also does any 1 know what engine it is

and if any 1 has any dead engines or spares im missing pm me
