well i want one cause the way the 125 performs is great so the 150 is gunna have some balls i reckon

They would want to perform for 990 Euro. Thats about $1600 Aussie. They can keep em for that

Good reading guys thanks for the links! there are some tossers on some sites and one can never be sure if they are telling the truth but its good to have some people who know how to use cut and paste.
Well heres the next news fellas, just blew the gearbox and now i can have some fun pulling it apart to see how it all works. I have got a replacement 140 same as what was in it and well slap her in and have a little fun, then I'm gonna either get a crf and keep the pit bike for some fun or sell her and go for motovert with a 150 daytona. (thats if i can get one). Whats the talk on those 160 and up engines, i have need for speed......

Why do so many people always think that a bigger engine automatically means faster lap times  Bigger doesn't always mean faster. 800cc MotoGP bikes go just as quick and in most cases quicker than the old 990cc bikes and Ryan Villipoto laps almost as quickly on his 250F as James Stewart does on his 450F. How does that work

Go you good thing and stop moaning

Yeah binking you have a point there as one can only ride a corner or berm as fast as gravity will allow before you get thrown off. Point is if you have the grunt there and so long as you can get it to hook up outta the corners then you are into the next corner quicker than some one with less horses. In the case of pit bikes well i haven't ridden many others but i don't think many pitties will lift the front wheel up while you are on the gas and your head over the front Number plate:eek: .....follow me:D ....and I'm not talking about from stationary like racing starts. All in all 140 150 160 so what i would race anyone who's up for the challenge as it doesn't matter how fast the bike is its what to do with the power that counts. Do you accelerate before you hit the ground after jumping? Any top rider would know that MX is all about times and getting around that track as fast and as smooth as possible. Go you good thing and stop moaning:p

Those Daytona 150 gear ratios look a bit weird:

1st to 2nd = 0.82 = very nice assuming 0.8 is ideal for a 4 spd MX box.
2nd to 3rd = 0.65 = way way too wide a gap for MX.
3rd to 4th = 0.69 = way too wide.
3rd to 4th = 0.77 = ok.

Published data:

Gear ratio : 18/67 (3.18), 13/34 (2.62), 17/29 (1.71), 22/26 (1.18), 24/22 (0.91)

If right, means the Daytona 150 is a cripple for MX. What is the target market for that engine?

where did you find that data, Numroe if I may ask?

any more news on the delivery dates allready?

an average 140 will put out 12 Horsepower.
a 150 will do 16 Horsepower.
if you can go better than ur rockin
ur 125 probably has 9 horsepower
