yer new guards & side plates, seat re done & tank re spray all on the cards..

along with powder coat & HUGE engine work
 
pro tapers, titanium long pipe, usd zokes, excel rims..... ishock(s), this things got potential :S. hahah narr its siqq was like my old mx 80 metal guards?
 
mate this thing will be pure mid-size Oldschool porn if it comes off...
my sis had an old '75 YZ80 years back.. original Hurricane kit... running YZ125 forks and DR250 shocks.. musta been built up as a racer back in the 70's... spewing she sold it... :(
we could have had Old Bloke battles...
 
man i miss those old kidney killing machines...there was a day when everyone owed one, now your flat out seeing one....

im in the middle of sourcing a vintage myself for restoration, altho i may just settle for a pre85 yet...

Head & barrell are off,

Inlet valve is chewed out nearly pulled through

every thing else looks to be in great condition.

will throw up some picks after work
 
haha...nice...Me, myself and I are going to get a xl125s from 79....hope it will be like that when I am ready with it !!

me & my Old man get into the XL's as well, i think he now has over half of Australias XL350 & XL250 74 & 75 models parts & bikes left...

he got over the 350's bored & stroke to 480cc so is now working on XL125's with CRF150 running gear (Rods & Pistons)
 
PS if any one has a side plate for XR75 let me know, i'm not paying $200 for a set... id rather make one
 
Make new set out of polished alloy ... I never liked the stock pressed tin crap ...
 
was at the dump the other day saw a xr 75 for sale for 50 bux no engine just a rolling frame no i regret not buying it
