Yep, brand new clutch, TB piston, shift fork, kick start gears and put all back together fired it up, smokeyyyyyy as hell. Rings are in the right way, derrrr, and gaps are not inline, cylinder honed nice. The engine itself is roughly 5 hours old before new piston etc was put in, can't possibly be valve stem seals. Not on acceleration, not on decalleration, just there when cold, goes away when warm.
Using "run in"oil right now, will change back to Motul and see what happens
LAst guy i knew who put a new TB piston his bike was also very smokey, only made it to the flag in the second moto when engine seized.
Also a little "poppy" down low, ok when it hits main jet. I forget what the small jet is but main is a 95. VM 26 carb. Can't buy a 100 jet anywhere, grrrrrr
Anyone had this happen to them?
