Yx140 z40 cam up grade

Just wondering is the z40 cam, valve springs, and cam sprocket with it or not and will I get more top end out of my motor?

i spose it depends where you buy it all.. usually they dont come as a kit tho

IMO z40 shaft isnt tht much of an increase in power.. does lift the top end a little but nothing to get excited about..

what about the whole kit ( cam sprocket, cam shaft,and vlavle springs)? do you get much more performance out of all of that?

well you need the whole kit or it wont work... standard springs will more than likely coil bind or be too weak..

dont need the cam gear tho

theres heaps better cams out there..

maybe fpm will drop in and recommend a tb cam and spring package

TB300 cam, 32t 2-hole sprocket, and stout springs, thinner head gasket, makes a nice package.

some people need to brush up on there computer skills.. and stop being lazy lol

ok the cam name has been outlined above.. what do you think the next best step is...

google TB300 cam, oh and what do you know everything comes up.... oh and sht the 4th link is a direct match..

then stay on that site and search for the cam gear and springs... when ordering from there, dont rush it.. theres a fine line between waiting months for parts or a week or so.. be sure to read the shipping info
