well the poor old bike is rooted, stripped all the teeth of 3rd gear as the chain came off at full throttle and got stuck, still ride around every now and again, even with all that metal floating around, just go 2nd flat than to 4th and let it pull, been running it on wat ever i can find as abit...

well i havent been on for awhile now, well the ute is almost done, just under a month and i go for my p's, and i need a windscreen seat carpet and rego, drives well, got a 4 speed in it, painted it cyan met blue. will get some pics up soon cheers

I will agree with you there blender, when i rebuild a motor for mine ill only hopfully go 30thou, personally im a 253 fan :) zwebx, you should be right putting the vk donk in, paint it red and they wont really no the difference, (what they dont no wont hurt them)

mines probably only done 120000, you can only bore the 173 out 60thou and that would up the compression, try and find a good 186 or 202, or if your lucky a 173 blue motor, put dished pistons in it with big compustion chambers and put an m90 or 4-71 blower, and a cam with a good amount of...

yer shes a belmont, the come standard with the 173 and 202's, mine has practically no rust on 1 little hole in the floor,

2.78 diff lj torana, hot 202/208 red 3 speed with 13inch rims i might start a thread of my ute but not sure where

3 speed manual are just a good excuse to rev it out further from the big split between gears :) ive got a mate with a torana and 3 speed manual, does 100ks in 1st gear at 8300rpm with a really hot red 6 :)

Ive got a trusty HOLDEN HJ UTE. part way through full body off chassis rebuild, will be running a warm 202, ether 3 speed or vk 5speed,

pressure cleaner or ill just wait for the mud to dry and go for a ride over a few good bumps soon falls off :)

i think the old bike is pretty well rooted ive had it 5 maybe 6 years and ive always pushed it, im not gonna ride or start it as i no ive stripped the gear and dont really want to make it worse, i might just put this up the back shed and get the old 73 xl250 going :) the old cheapy deffently...
