    yeah sorry, I didn't mean any disrespect to anyone. I misinterpreted the information I was given. so there's no problem with the 88 kit in a 12v monkey? I don't want to go fast, just 60-80 to travel to work cheers man, and once again no disrespect

    ok ok.....I'm going to fit 10" rims, the guys at monkeygarage said I should put a 106cc bore kit but I think 88 will suffice. This bike's main use will be getting me to and from work which is only about 10 -15mins each way, so as long as it can sit on 60-80km/h I'll be happy. An 88 kit should do...

    I've actually given some thought on that. Would it be an easy process? I mean without have to re wire the clutch cable Would a motor that size even bolt up to my frame without modding the thing? Cheers Bulldog

    It's a beauty, I love it I bought it for 4500 at sydney city motorcycles campbelltown......a bit pricey but hey it's a piece of history, never to be produced again cheers long live the zed:cool:

    on the front mudguard there's a stick that says the motor is limited to 50km'hr.....any way to increase the motors performance without any mods? I'm going to use this bike to travel to work, it needs more grunt. Surely a 50cc motor can do more than 50km/hr? Thanks

    I took it to a guy I know, (works at ultratune, heavily into bikes) he said that because the rear lights are rubber mounted it wasn't grounding properly. He made up a grounding strap and now it works. As for the headlight, I did take those screw out and the the switch assembly opened up, there...

    dude, I freakin love your bike. I've go a 40th Anniversary zed and replacing the stock 50 with a 125. Can you tell me where you got your rims and tires, swing arm and shocks along with the size details? Also did you have to buy a bigger fork? I noticed that you still have the stock handle...
