I put the old starter solenoid back in and with key bypassed and it started first go!!fuel line is cracked from sitting so long so went to shut it down,when the killswitch failed so i pulled my hotwired join apart super fast!!!So i need a new ignition barrel,fuel line and repair/replace...

well i still dont have a multimeter,because im povo.. I unplugged the ignition barrel and hot-wired the black and red together and i now have lights,horn,indicators..everything except electric start. Starter worked when i touched the positive and negative terminals together at the solenoid...

Yep.multimeter would be better then my test lamp:( the whole bike stopped,not just the ligjts etc.had to van it home. I moved the bike today while cleaning shed.it all powered up somehow when i turned the key,it cranked and all but the ignition alone made the cdi fry before my eyes smoking...

Hi all, I was riding(practicing for P's)u-turns My bike electrical just died,nothing,no light,no power...nothing Main fuse good Went over wiring,replaced any soft/melted wires from past issue with starter Tried bypassing the kill switch by joing wires together before kill switch Battery...

it needed a smaller one before i think cause it was bogging down,so hopefully it will be alright now as it is. oko 26mm 100 main....thanks again

yes i am gumby the youtube mechanic.I didnt know any of that.but i am learning.had a bike for 4months now.cranked it a few times by hand with fresh oil,prayed,took a swig,and it fired up!!!thanks fella's..sean u saved my ass a few times now.your the oracle.do i run it in all over again?or do it...

i started fresh..cranked a few times to confuse myself.just to make sure my eyes arent playing tricks I put a wooden skewer in spark hole and watched it pop up and down...all seems fine now.another gumby act..im a youtube mechanic after all.will keep you posted

yes to all the above except the cam chain..doesnt have one. i am positive its on the compression stroke at TDC as i had a torch in spark plug hole and saw it coming up then stoping on the mark. but i took the adjusting bolt out of valve and it still doesn't move like the exhaust side.like...

Hi again. I tried to open the link in the sticky on this with no luck. I have a kinlon 200sm ohv air cooled loncin engine. Im to the point of adjusting valve clearances after install.Exhaust valve clearances will adjust The intake valve clearances wont budge i.e no tiny bit of play on...

Hi, i bought a piston and sleeve kit for my Kinlon 200SM. I am installing the new rings on the piston and i want to know which is middle and which is upper ring. They are both the same shade of black.One is marked H and the other H2. thanks in advance

I did the cold setting first..made rattle noise..so i then did the warm setting..same rattle noise..so i shut it off.it idles nice without excessive ticking,then as the throttle is turned..rattles badly i attached a vid YouTube - Loncin valve issues
