thanks guys sounds simple enough but would it of done any damage as it was metal not plastic. when i pull the side case off should i expect anything to fly or fall out.
gday all my problem this time is, i went riding yesterday after riding went to check oil level but had no dipstick rod joined to cap (was there previously) obviously its in motor some where what do i do??? motor is lifan 140.
i see what u mean mate.. but grinding the frame there dont look or sound safe.
i know i couple welders (their trade) that i reckon could put a mount on. do you know of anybody successfully putting one in.
anybody have any thoughts as to a good 140 engine that might fit.
well i just had a look at my atomik frame and lifan 140 engine in my other bike the only thing i can see is maybe the carbie will hit the frame because of the backward facing manifold. a forward facing one would fix that right???
and are all 140 oil cooled wouldnt be that hard to put a mount...
gday mate ihave pair of fast ace forks which take 15mm axle.
and a pair of fast ace wannabes which take 12mm axle.
as far as i know u cant replace 15mm bearings with 12mm or vice versa. a 12mm bearing would swim inside the wheel.
how did u brake your clamp anyway.
its all got to do with the bling factor, the cost dont really matter that much, so i will take the GOOD advice i got here from u fine chaps and get it done properly. cheers all thanks.
i had the same problem only bout two weeks ago everyone here told me it was the float getting stuck. i pulled carbi apart put it back together and problem was fixed.
good luck mate.
unlike u tubes i dont put crap $40-$50 rims on my bike would always be buying rims. u cheapo $95 aint exspensive to have a nice looking bike and a bit of pride in what u own.
gday.
