when i have my cylinders bored, it cost me $50 ea
how is just a hone going to cost you $180 plus ?

I though a hone would cost around $100 or so plus shipping, I don't know any places that do it here, only other states. Where did you get yours done?

a guy down at Richmond, he normally has a 24 hour turnaround
he'll just hone it if you want, you'll need to take the cylinder, piston and rings to him

i'll pm you his details,
tell him Craig with the IT200, and PW50 gave you his number

Post up some progress pics if you get a chance. Sounds like a beast in the making!

Been Pre occupied, with other problems, and ended up sein my machanic I use for my bigger bikes, and he said he can get it honed for me.
As Richmond is 1 hour from me, and my machanic is only 10 mins away.

So hopfully it will be up and going soon, will keep everyone posted :)

^^^ Yeah I noticed the same thing.

There should be a block that sits out as well.

Unless it's a manual decomp?

Cool mate, without that extra piece on the end of the de-comp you may end up with lots of extra pieces.... Also is that cam cover made to suit the decomp? If not you may end up with alloy filings all thorough the motor, just a warning, dont make the same mistake i did LOL

Haha nah she's sweet. The covers are made for the decomp. Have already run it In and all. Havent had any issues of yet. Touch wood lol
