we will do a total once all sorted at the moment flights are obviously payed for and the van transport could possibly be of a different nature, still working things out , money collected is being recorded and allocated to styvs account as required and a balance will be payed once all done , 12/10 family, Karl and myself are working out details and Mpotorman is keeping records in order to track all the monies as a portion will not go through the paypal but instead allocated for expenses involved in getting the van back, we thought instead of going through all the paypal dramas we would pay people direct for services but basically there will be a total at the end , amounts wont be listed itemised but all the names of people who contributed will be released with the final grand total, we should have more info tomorrow, styv should be flying to Melbourne as I speak =)
to say thank you to everyone seems like not enough, the way our community has come together has amazed me and you are all brothers in my book, stay tuned
 
There's been a trivial hold up guys. An annoying hold up. Styv and Haley were seated on the plane when someone from Virgin noticed a clerical error on the doctors clearance to fly forms. They were escorted from the plane and told they can't fly until the paperwork is sorted... What a crock of sheet.!!
Styvan and Haley had to head back to the hospital in a paid taxi (by the airline) to get better papers and I headed back in to pick them up again. The pair will stay at mine another night and HOPEFULLY be on the next flight in the morning
 
What the ****, that's bull**** at its best there as if they couldn't of had some compassion and let it slip. Speaking of let one slip I would of been letting a few choice words slip also. Feckin clock heads
 
Not good to hear.

Fingers crossed he get's on a flight this morning.

He's home tucked up in bed , thanks again Karl for everything , looks like the vans staying in qld ... Plans kinda changed as Styvan had a few issues with the vito on the way up and was very concerned the girls wouldn't make it to Melbourne so decision was made to ditch that plan ... The guys have had an offer to possibly get the van home from a guy who has heard about styvs sitch and apparently will transport it for us on his next trio to Melbourne and possibly at no charge ..??.. So kinda through a spanner in the works as angie who was planned to drive the van had already of her own back booked flights home from Melbourne but now with this all changing she decided to go anyway and will fly to Melbourne , see her sister and then fly home so the ticket doesn't go to waist , her brothers and I are sorting her out for all the trouble and now just need to make arrangements for styvs van . Minor setback but the main thing is he's home and we all thought its a much safer idea to sort something else for the van once we heard styvs concerns , anyway people are still helping out and chucking in coin and we should still see some more hit accounts over next few days , the auction for the Reed pic I think may have finished , hope I still won lol but that money will be donated too and if we can get that free truck transport then styv should be sorted for the short term will update once we know more , on behalf of styv n his family , again thank you to everyone involved has been a crazy week but because of you all he's home n everything is almost sorted for him

I too am amazed at the support of the mr community. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing group. Thanks everyone who got involved or still are yet to jump on board. I know some people said they were waiting to get paid and stuff. You're all legends in my book

Van is still at my place but Roy is still pushing to make plans to get it home. I'll try and line up a mechanic to give it a service and check it over to make sure it's right to go the distance. Then I guess we'll be looking for a driver again

Well unless someone else can help out looks like Karl's taking it to Kurri n I'm flying up Saturday morning meeting the guys at the track n heading back to Melbourne ... Mission n vcm is Sunday so if anyone's got any other ideas feel free to say so lol we will get this sorted one way or another , styvs doing ok , sick of being cripple but he's In pretty good spirits
 
Just to let you all know that every single cent of the money donated has paid for Styv's flights and given directly to Styv.

I will get a list up of all the people that paid money shortly.

It really was a top effort with over $1200 donated from all the crew all over the world. Makes me proud to own a site with such a tight nit community.
 
**** yeah nick. Awesome bro. And we cant thankyou and the other chsmp lol for keeping this site going. It will never make you guys millionaires but the passion you have makes this all priceless.

Hello all, I kno I should of probly commented a few times to tell everyone my progress before during and after surgery but I can tell everyone I AM ON THE MEND!

Just after my crash I was drugged up with ketamine and morphine as the green stick did sweet FA!! As for the ambulance they did a great job after my boot was off but during it I probly cursed many many times as they supported my ankle and behind my knee....... NOT supporting the break which was in half on my shin so it I what would be natural to a leg with a broke bone in half an that would be to FOLD IN HALF!!!

Pain was intense so they fully drugged me up and I not afraid to say I was ****ting my pants in fear cause it felt like I was dieing, I was in and out on conscience and my hands froze up like I was being electrocuted!! I duno what was happening so I was fighting the drugs major thinking I was gonna die!! I haven't ha any broken bones so this was all a first to me.

Ambulance was good once they got the boot off then the drugged me up as they needed to straighten my leg and put a backslab on, yet again like a death feeling! These drugs are BAD!! Next day was operation 7am and didn't get out till 12. 5hoir operation a 35cm titanium rod and 4 screws I was done and I was groggy as.. The misses flew up and was able to see me as I got out of theatre.. Aparanty i was yellow as like gorndus.

Stayed with my mate Karl Han**** for a couple days muh appreciation for that fella doing what you did mate bearly know you and you have done more for me then a mate of 10years has done for me. Thank you!

Now days I'm 2 1/2 weeks out just got my staples out and backslab off and now in a very stylish moon boot.. With small weight bearing walking. Have this for 4wks and off with the moon boot and walking I'm guessing!?
Leg feels good and doctors that has now seen it down here have said they have done a great job, which I'm happy with :)

Wish I compete everyone having lots of fun around these days :( but I will get there.

Words can't express my gratitude towards the miniriders community in helping me.. As I have said before I didn't expect nothing and you all gave me more then I could ever imagined.. Thanks will never be enough.. This will forever be a fond highlight in my life I will tell the tale with a great smile to appreciate everything you all have done for me, it's amazing.

This isn't just a site it's a family and proud to e apart of it.

PLEASE READ BELOW!!!

I just want to put it out there that this bike was not bought with the hearts and hands that help me from Mu accident in QLD! I would never even turn around to the people that helped me so much in my time of need as basically spit in there faces with the money you all work had to get, let alone help a little minibike rider here in this country! I'm a little upset about it as I appreciate everything everyone did for me and continue to do on a daily bases..

Not sure if any on you new but it was my birthday on the 28th September and I was able to get half the money from my family and my dad paid half as it was a good deal..

I have had to try and sell subs bmxes amps road bikes MTB as what ever I have in my shed now to keep ahead with my on coming bills.. I'm sure you all know renting isn't cheap! Nor are the bills and paying for a van that I don't drive..

In excess of $1100 a month of mine goes to rent bills and finance on car, asking money from my family or anyone is a very demeaning thing to do as I am a independent person at the age of 24 I should be able to stand on my own feet and look after myself and cover myself, in this case I haven't

I'm not this kind of person. I don't want to go on the defence and get angry about this cause I am apart of a great big family and I wouldn't bite the hand that feeds me!!
