Rim locks are a good idea especially on the 140s with the power and the carlsbad tyres.

Just take it into the shop and they'll install the right one for you.

And one brake pad is supposed to touch the disk.

okay ill take it to the shop..
why's it ment to touch the disk the wheel will just lock up for no reason as im walking it
does anyone know why its not clamping properly when i pull the leaver in?

lol i have no idea i didnt put them in
i was just fiddling with it and a pad fell out if that counts for anything haha its in my hand now..

take the calliper off the bike and take it apart and put the pad back in. Make sure it works properly and put it back on bleed it and then see again and if not it is prob a faulty brake just send it bck and get a new one

theres a bit in snitchy's video where he puts the brake pads in lol. It might be handy.

anything look wrong with that
i dno what im lookin for?

possible my brother has cause it was there like that all today
lol is that why the gold circle things sticking out?

Use a screwdriver to lever the pads apart, looks like one of the pads is coming off the caliper.

Lachie.
A couple of problems visible right away.
Fisrtly..It looks like the brake pad spring is not located in the recess properly.

Secondly... the Caliper backing plate [The black piece your thumb is on]should slide past the inner brake pad,at the moment it is jammed on the brake pad.

Once you sort those little things out it should slide over the disc nicely !

Ps...Dont force anything together if it doesnt feel right !

Cheers Brian

yeah i think theese are probably the reasons i had trouble getting it on in the first place thanks

the pads dont stick together anyway they just fall appart
the smaller break pad keeps falling out
i can see any springs :(
