Need help SSR125 problems

yeah i get what you mean does this have anything to do with my cdi being bad because i remember telling you awhile ago that when i got it started it then started smoking from the cdi box and then i shut the bike off.. i ordered that main wiring loom it was $6.. i rather spend the money to know its been done you know? if im not getting a reading and the cdi isnt providing that connection to the ignition coil then could that just be that red/black wire off the stator or can it maybe be the cdi is bad? because im questioning it cause of that smoke before.. is this why the bike isnt starting?

the new stator should solve the problem of no spark.

what if you ordered a new carby insulator plate too?
that would fix any issues that were there if it was sucking air past the carby mounting face.
it will replace the 3 home made gaskets u have there now

That link you posted wont work for me because I have the 22mm carb so I have to find it on the Internet and I will go ahead and get it because I remember I needed too. However that smoke I was talking about from the Cdi doesn't make you think that the Cdi can be bad or not functioning..? However I'm not getting that spark so your right that stator and harness I got will hopefully fix the spark issue cause I already replaced the coil ect. Hopefully I'm make some good steps here! Haha

I can't seem too find a 22mm mukini carb insulator known as a "heat spacer" ? i called Tbolt and they said that i dont need that black piece, they said to just through on like a thin gasket which i have then bolt it on.. what do you think?

both/either will fit as your carby is a china copy Mikuni 22/26, they have a 26mm outlet hole

Oh gotcha alright sweet.. i just ordered that exact part from that link. The fly wheel puller and the stator came in the mail today, very fast shipping.. pulled the flywheel off and im going to put on the new stator on tomorrow. Waiting on the wiring harness and the carby insulator that i ordered and should be good too go? What do you think about the cdi, even though it was smoking last time? Having a new stator and harness should clear a lot of problems up hopefully..

New stator has:
green/white wire
white wire
blue/white wire
green/red wire
black/red wire
yellow wire

Wiring harness:
green wire
red/black wire
blue/white wire

i think a lot of the wires of the stator are for a battery ect. theres a green/red wire off the stator by it self with a little seat and i dont know what it is.. do you think you can help can these plugs going and fitted correctly?

the new stator wiring is as follows;

blue/white wire, is the pick up coil to tell cdi when to fire
green/white is the earth
green/red is not needed ( neutral start only switch )
red/black is the power for the cdi (your's' wasnt getting any reading) you can test the new one with your multimeter
the yellow, and white wires are for lighting/battery, just tape them back to the loom.

the new loom in the link doesn't/wont fit your cdi iirc ?
the cdi you have uses 2 plugs, a 4 pin and a 2 pin ?
the one in your link is for a 5 pin cdi i think, give me a minute to double check

your cdi unit, from a pic you posted earlier

looking at the pic in the ebay link , the loom from motorparts99.
do the 2x plugs in his pic, look exactly the same as what you have now for the cdi unit?
his picture shows a 6 pin plug with one cetre pin not fitted.

or does yours have 4 pins on one, and 2 on the other

put in the new stator, waiting on the new harness.. New harness has 2 plugs just like my cdi and my original harness so should just plug right in. Flywheel ect back on, waiting on that carb rubber spcaer

received the new harness in the mail.. turns out its the wrong one. Whatever it happens. I also got the 22mm carby rubber spacer and put that on. i need to get a spark plug tomorrow and throw some gas in and see what happens... Any recommendations for plugs? model numbers ect?

the standard spark NGK spark plug is a C7HSA, and the better NGK spark plug is the CR7HIX Irridium
the cheapest Irridiums i've found are from here , UK, -
