Worked after school and in the holidays as a sandwich maker , hot food cook , shop repacker to fund my XR racing and mods , learnt engine building / tuning and modification during that time , then did fitting/machining and toolmaking apprenticeship - found lathe work boring but liked planing , milling , surface and cylindrical grinding , marking out and drilling / tapping - specialised in fitting and fine hand finished die and punch making work . Branched out as a welder / fabricator including structural steel , steam pressure vessel , general fabrication and sheet metal work . Have also done drivers offsiding , electrical wiring and assembly , fork lift driving , hydraulic repair and servicing , mechanical and automotive repairs , machine operation , and even process work to take a break from fitting/welding etc ...... LOL ....
