Hi i have an apollo 007 dirt bike that is leaking for the gas swicth it self any ideas on how to stop that leaking.

Welcome to Miniriders,

Is it leaking from the tap or from the join where it connect's to the tank ?
Can you pull the tap apart ?
Some of them you can unscrew them and take them apart.
It may have a piece of plastic inside from when they made the tank ?

A replacement tap is cheap too http://www.ebay.com.au/myb/WatchList?MyEbay&gbh=1

Its leaking form the tap it looks like theres a screwable part to it maybe i shiuld tighten it

Ok, does it have this style of tap ?

If it does, then hold the tap still and do up the nut a little.
Wipe the threads and see if it is still leaking.
If it is then tighten the nut a little more till it stops.
Be very careful not to over tighten the nut, otherwise you will break the fuel tap and need a new one.
The thread that screws into the tank is quite weak.

If it has the 2x screw's like in the pic above that hold the tap lever to the tap, and it's leaking there, you could try tightening them a little more.

You might not be able to tighten it enough due to the rubber seal, it could be expanded due to getting fuel on it.
If it is, then the seal will need replacing.
They use a Flat rubber o'ring between the nut and the tank, it has a 10mm i/d, 16mm o/d and is about 2.5mm thick.
You might be able to find a similar Flat one at a Bearing/Seal shop
Or you could try using one off an automotive fuel injector, it should do the trick too.
Any good auto part's shop will sell then for about $1.50
They are a high quality rubber/viton seal compared to the cheap china rubber seal

To undo this style tap ^^, loosen the lock nut, and then turn the tap anti-clockwise to remove the tap from the tank.

If you have this style tap, to undo it hold the tap and undo the nut to remove the tap from the tank
This style tap if you do it up too tight, it will make the thread moulded into the tank turn, and it will wreck the tank.
Then you'll need another new tank/tap
