hey peoples
just scored a genuine vm26 running the following jets
main:190
pilot:22.5

ill be installing it on a gpx yx160 out of a pitsterpro

only mods on engine are inner rotor kit and big bore exhaust

what do people suggest for a good jetting?
never buggered around with jetting before

regards

what is it off? the Main jetting sounds like an 80cc-100cc 2 stroke ?
if it was off a 2 T, then you'll need to modify the carby to work properly on a 4 stroke

the Pilot jetting could be close ?

do you have a lightened slinger?
i've heard the inner rotor kits can break crankshafts when running a stock slinger

maybe post up the serial number off the side, i'll see what details i can give you

just looked at VM26 specs, 190 main in both VM26 carbys, the 2 stroke (8074) takes a 60 Pilot jet though
i reckon it is a 4 stroke carb (606)

main jetting, i would try a #110 for starters.

then i would buy #105, #115, #120, #125 jets for tuning

possibly a #25 Pilot jet too ?
