Here's a new pic of my bike. Have changed the rear light setup. Also upgraded to a high rise seat and fastace rear shock.

My thoughts are that you could rec reg the bike, but I think the person riding the bike could be fined for not having a license.

    soft front forks

I dont see how putting coins in the tube would make the spring stiffer. It would just pre-compress it, giving you less travel? Stiffness of the spring is a constant from my engineering days. Let me know how you go because my forks are wayyy to soft too.

    As02 Forks

Nope I'm not jumping. Just riding around flat stuff mostly. I only weigh about 93/94 kg and I find that when riding the forks do often bottom out easily. Ie. just riding around on a bumpy grassy field will cause this. Maybe Atomik changed the springs on them or something at some point.

    As02 Forks

Hi there guys, Can you advise if the AS02's would bottom out with a 95kg rider (me)? I have an Atomik Moto X and I find that the front forks bottom out alot (they only have a couple of inches of travel with me on it). Thanks for the help as I want to see if the money on the AS02's is...

    Fast Ace forks

Thanks guys. Ps. I did search and couldn't find any other shit on these forks!

    Fast Ace forks

Hi everyone, I am considering buying a set of FastAce AS-03for my Atomik Moto X 125. I find that my stock forks bottom out with my weight (~94kg) and that my bike doesn't handle that well over rough terrain. I know the FastAce forks are adjustable, but will the fast ace forks stop the...

    MIKUNI 25mm CARBIE MANUAL.

Does anyone know any good motorcycle mechanics around melbourne that could tune my bike properly (Atomik moto x)? I had to replace the throttle cable and I have not been able to get my bike to run correctly since. I played with the mixture screw (thinking it was an idle screw) which has...

    Atomik Motox 125cc 2007

I've owned one of these bikes since around December 06. So far the only thing that has broken is the throttle cable (which seems to happen on alot of bikes). The frame probably could be stronger and looks weaker than others. Forks are way to soft for my weight (~94kg) and bottom out all the...

Bike won't start after washing it/riding in wet

I got it to start last friday. Pulled some extra mud off it, unwrapped the tape on the ignition coil and re-wraped it. Started! Thanks.

    Transporting motorbike

There is one place I called up a while ago to move a bike from Qld to Vic. They dealt in moving bikes specially. I can't remember their name, but the price from memmory was around $500.

    rim locks

Oops sorry guys. I deleted my earlier post. I obviously didn't install them :) They have stopped my puncture problems to some extent - I got a thorn through my tyre a few weeks ago and couldn't fn believe my bad luck!

Just kick up a fuss ; say you'll write to the transport minister. If their systems can't recognise your bike, this is not your responsibility. It is a Vic Roads system issue only. My bike only had a 14 digit VIN when the usual number is 17. They can still enter it. I'm not even sure if it was...

Bike won't start after washing it/riding in wet

Well so far I have done the following and I still can't get the bike to start: 1. Drained fuel from the carburetor. 2. Taken apart the magneto and let air dry. 3. Run hair dryer all over the bike to dry all electricals out. 4. Re-attached magneto cover. The problem is not the magneto as...

Go, go, go my little Bro.

Great movie Jono. I went riding on the weekend. My bike was like 20x more dirty than that. I had to scrape huge chunks of mud/clay off it with a stick. My bike is also not working now :)

    rim locks

It costs me $10 bucks to get my tyre changed. Why would I fn bother doing it myself when I don't have the tools and it's a pain in the ass job anyway.

Bike won't start after washing it/riding in wet

Thanks. Yeah my exhaust was full of water. I need to make a plug or something so it won't get water in it. I did take the cover off the magneto, but only to check if dirt could get in there. I will open it again and let air in case there's some water in there. What do you need to do to the...

Isn't that all sealed up though? Is there an easy way to check if it is stuffed or not (without buying a new one?)
