anyways i have a question i have recently put a lifan 125cc in my crf50 frame and what i believe to be a 30mm carb have to rise fuel tank to fit it on the bike lol when i use gps speedo to see how fast it can go i was only getting around 50 kmph i have since played around with the air fuel screw and idle screw and got it going 63 kmph i have seen people saying these can go 80 - 100 kmph is this true am i missing something ??

Hey mate.
I'd ditch that rear sprocket as it looks way too big. Now it pretty much depends on what gear ratio you are running. I can't remember the stock sprocket size I think they where a 36 or something along those lines.
To get the most out of it chuck a 16 on the front or even a 17 if it will fit and go back to the crf50 rear sprocket. You'll still wheelie everywhere but it won't be as punchy and will be quite a bit faster.

And welcome to the forums mate. You'll fit in well here. Drop a post in the introduce yourself section.
Cheers

thanks for the advice il give it a shot :D

Welcome to Miniriders,

Going by your GPS speed, your gearing is close to stock, 14/37 and you would have been revving it out to around 9000 rpm ?

Changing the front sprocket to a 17T, and the rear to a 34T will give you a top speed around 85km/h @ 9000rpm.
Also fitting a slightly taller back tyre like a 80/100/10 (if it'll fit) will give you a bit more top end speed too, it will get around 92 km/h
But it also increase's the height of the seat at the rear, so might need some taller/stiffer front fork spring's too

thanks for the help appreciate it :D time to go shopping my back tyre is pretty worn so time for a new one and ye i think I'm revving out at 9000 rpm

That tyre hasn't worn much tread off since new.
It's just that size / style tyre, made for the CRF50, PW50, JR50 ect, they have about 5mm deep tread from new

Best 50 tyres to get if your looking mate is Bridgestone m404 for the rear and m40 for the front.
