Motovert RX 125 issues

hey guys,

so i picked up a motovert RX for road use (mainly for trolling my friends)

unfortunately the previous owner had the batter in the wrong way round (blew the fuse) i replaced but seems the charging system isn't working, ie go for a ride and 15mins or so the lights are pretty dull, when i remove the new battery and run the bike engine runs but no power to any electrical lighting at all.

would this be a rectifier issue or worse?

sorry Regulator issue i mean.

ok did a test and the regulator is fubared.

They use a Regulator/Rectifier don't they, the 4 pin one like this ?

thanks Craig, its a 5 pin type on these actually.
