yea ok. i guess as long as it doesnt destroy or decrease the performance of the motor it's ok. i have bigger things to worry about with the bike.. such as the obliterated/shredded rear rim.

hey all, i'm hoping that somebody here might be able to tell me what the problem is and how to fix it: when idling or going at low speeds my 4 stroke 110cc bike sounds fine, but at high revs there is this rattling sound coming from the engine or somewhere near it. a guy at the track said it...

if only u had asked a little earlier, i think carterraceengines had some of these around, but i think he's closed for good now...

ok. when i had my mini dirt bike, i removed the spacer from day 1, but considering i had alot of probs with that bike, the removal of the spacer couldve contributed to som of those problems...

lilscottie, i have just been having this discussion with another member of the forum, he says that you need the spacer in there for stopping the heat get to the carb... i dont mean to hijack this thread, but it would be nice to know which one is the better option, taking it off or having it on...

well the one in the first link is a mini motard (mini dirt bike with road tyres) and is not really intended for offroad use, so considering you posted this thread in the dirt bike forum i assume you are looking for a dirt bike, so i think that answers ur question ;)

well as i said before: "well i have taken off the breather filter and put the valve cap back on. it was not only due to ur advice though... when i tried to start the bike with the breather filter on it wouldnt start and upon kick starting it it kept getting stuck as if the valve was hitting...

yes well my bike hasnt got any of those conditions, so for sure i wont be getting one now. cheers.
