I Have a 110cc semi automatic pitbike, it had been stood for 4 on its side, when i bought it i put fresh oil and cleaned the carb and now it runs but it wont go into gear up or down the gear lever goes up and down but dosnt click into gear please help

Hey guys, is a bike suppose to start rolling forward when its in gear while im holding the clutch lever in? Everything else is fine and it doesnt feel like the clutch is slipping. Would be as simple as adjusting the clutch cable or would be as severe as replacing the clutch basket?

Not sure if this is out there or not but thought I'd share. I'm fixing the motor in my son's bike (broken gearbox output shaft at the kickstart idle gear end) and the gearbox for this Jongshen 140 turns out to be identical to the yx150/160 gearbox internals. There you go. Hope it helps...
