Help! Did i receive the wrong Rear Spring for my Crf50?

ISSUE FIXED! MY SUBFRAME WAS OUT MY 3MM COMPARED TO SAME YEAR MODEL CRF50.
SWAPPED SHOCK FOR A KITACO HD REAR SHOCK from 50stunt.


So i have a 2014 Crf50f that I'm turning into a stunt bike.
( build vid will come on my channel ariderslife)


Problem. New Rear Shock doesn't fit Stock 2014 crf50.

FASTACE REAR SHOCK - BDA-01AR
250LB spring.
26cm c-c (260mm)

Problem: Shock Rubs on Subframe,
Tried: Mounted upside down
Tried: Wound shock in to see if it remedies the issue.

Suspected resolution:

Suspect i received the wrong model Shock?
Suspect 2014 crf50 subframe is different from previous years.

My bike is 100% stock 2014 crf 50f.

I'm now waiting for the Shop to call me back with a good reason as they claim they have fitted these to stock crf50's...

i have seen on a couple of members' bikes here they had to spread the rear subframe

every thread i checked out recommended fitting a heavier spring to the stock shock, or replacing it with a Takegawa H/duty shock

thanks man, i should have gone with my gut-instinct and got the Takegawa Rear Shock, i only go this other one cause its closer to where i live. i will let the Store know that i want to swap.

The taky shock is also a LOT better.

I would return that one and just run the taky.

wonder why honda did that on the 2014 bikes? cant see it giving a great deal extra strength...

there is no 100% guarantee that the Takegawa will fit either because i can't find any website that say it will fit a 2014. Im pissed of that this seems to be just a simple 3mm mis alignment on the subframe ffs.
