Yeah I thought it would need a roller cam, mine is also showing signs of wear so when it gets replaced I can have a play around I guess, tb valve springs and roller rockers and cam in a stock head would be a decent upgrade over stock head internals I reckon

Making some progress now, need to find a clutch cover gasket from somewhere (everyone seems to be sold out?!) and get my alloy rockers. The missus helped me get the collets back in today, was frustrating but we got em in the end. I cant wait to get this bike back on the road, its been to damn long!

Does the yx gasket work on the 160ho bottom end? I saw seperate listings and assumed that they were not compatible tbh

The clutch basket looks pretty trick, will be interesting to see how it holds up, I no others hsve had troubles, but got to try for myself.

Im surprised at the play in the slots where the little gear slides into the basket, I thought they would be stronger in that area.. at least I have a complete clutch coming so if this craps out I can throw the other one straight on.

It's the ring gear that lets go.

Rockers turned up today I think the old ones got a little hot to, they are quite blue around the tip

Well I dont race (no way to any) and I ride a lot of deep rutty trails so the 17/14 combo works well for me tbh. I have 14/12 rims if I ever do decide to race it when we move

Not 100 percent sure yet, somewhere warmer than tas with plenty of bike racing for my boys to get in to lol
