Then i found out that the fork seals that i clearly ordered for the Gpx Black label forks are way too small. No biggie il call them tomorrow.

Then i saw this.
On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad did DHZ F*** up.
Notice the orientation of the peg mounts.

Im done with Dhz. Never ordering from them again after i get this all sorted.
 
So I contacted dhz and they are gonna send my order again. I just have to send back my original order. All good hopefully my frame will go off to the powdercoaters next week now :/
 
Getting there dude, nice. I've honestly never had a problem with DHZ over the years guess I'm one of the lucky ones idk. What's the inside scoop on looks?

How many hours on your Daytona if it's needing a piston and rings ?

Not sure on the sticker kits. I think Nick is making some custom ones up. Not 100% sure

I would say my 190 has around 40 hours on it. Better safe then sorry for this years Vcm series

Yeah man will get them cracking in the next week or 2 for sure. Will be complete custom MR ones.

More progress today.

Frame is at the powder coating joint

190 has been pulled down only to find that it is basically brand new inside(can still see the nice cross hatching)

Would be interesting to see the piston wear in micrometer readings.. to get a idea how long to run them..

What are the 2 compression ring gaps like too ?
Pretty sure one of the Braaap Daytonas had close on 100 hours on the original piston and rings
 
Ill have a good look tomorrow. But i could still feel the crosshatching just.
 
So a quick update before I head down to the shed.
Got a call this morning from the powder coaters saying my frame was done.

And to be honest it looks AMAZING.

Only got to this stage today. More tomorrow.
 
Also Craig i checked the ring gap on the old rings and the new ones
Old rings where at .011(0.28mm)
New ones are at .006(0.15mm)

So nearly double the new gap
