Well i'll tell you what grinds my gears...


Living in a world where people's social status and hierarchy is determined by which Apple product they own, how many "friends" they have on Facebook and what shoes they wear. there is much more to life than how many likes a picture you post gets, how much you paid for your iPhone.....

I dont understand how people can be making such a huge fuss about this whole James Packer vs David Gyngell "fight", when on the same day Boko Haram kidnapped 200 Nigerian schoolgirls! i saw 30 second segment regarding this, but all day, all i've heard about is this teeny-bopa mid life crisis corrupted with power and money brawl crap....

i know this must sound like im down on the world, but in truth i am not. how can people care about the lives of 2 middle aged men, both making plenty of cash a year, with nothing to worry about for their fututre, when there are 200 schoolgirls locked up in some hell hole, waiting to be sold.

Changes need to be made.

Just remember what ever the gov does, what ever some idiot at school does or says....we've got bikes at home and mates to go riding with!!

Thats all that really matters at the end of the day! IF the government tries to take my bikes away I will turn into an incredibly nasty person very quickly!!!

I hear you Blender, it drove me nuts with the whole schapelle being released from prison crap, so many other more newsworthy things going on in the world and I could not get her off my tv, that's why I've stopped watching free to air tv now, it's all crap, they feed us what they want us to see. I now choose what I watch, I download whatever I choose to watch, I refuse to watch news or read about it in newspapers, I will read other forms though to find the truths of the world, more people need to break out, and start thinking for themselves, otherwise we are going to be a ****house world in a very short amount of time.

Look at the new government, working til were 70, benefits being taken from hard working middle and low income families, single families being left on their own, when some 60% of kids grow up in single families now! taking payments away from kids whose parents die in the line of battle protecting our borders...... We all need to start thinking, vote, make it count, and do what we can to create our own change, otherwise nothing will change for the better.

Good on you for seeing how the world is going to ****, now we all need to find out what we can do to reverse it, or help contribute to that change, it may only be small, but it's better than sitting on our hands going, hmmm I hate this and not doing anything!

i have been listening to Rage Against The Machine for years now, in fact Killing In The Name Of was the first song i heard in my entire life, and it is an anthem long forgotten, it is what has sparked my interest in political affairs, they are the only "rebellion" type band around that havnt just wrote songs that complain about the problem, i mean anyone can do that. it takes guts to actually do something about it.

what you say is right to an extent, but everything that has happened in the world, good or bad, has been the sole idea of one person. its up to other people as to whether or not that one person is heard. but with enough determination, even the poorest of poor, the ugliest of uglies, can make a difference. everyone has potential, everyone has something they can bring to the table of the smorgasbord that is life.

i agree that taking it all on the cheek is a good method. if people want to be idiots, then thats their life, they're future...But when starts to infringe on your everyday life in a negative way, you should do what you feels right, and try your hardest. what im saying is to stick it to the man...

social media hubs such as facebook, twitter, myspace, instagram, linkedin, youtube, google+,and all the other social addons, such as snapchat, ask.fm, etc are in the world, stealing and storing your information only because the population has allowed it to get to such an unprecedented scale. you cant really talk about how bad they all are, if you participate in they're game...we all know thats just plain hypocrisy. if we all turned around one day, and decided not to use these social inhibit-ants, none of them would exist anymore, and life would go back to real life socialising, thats right, it does exist...

well, it is extremely easy to complain about a problem, and do nothing about it. but i cannot stand all these new bands, releasing songs saying how crap the world is, just because mommy and daddy didnt pay thier $5000+ phone bills, or they're stupid boyfriend dumped them.

and what makes me even more annoyed, is that all the ignorant people of society just take it on, and all of a sudden they are in love with that particular artist, and upon asking why, all i hear is "it explains why the world sucks so much"...

But yes like some of you have said. It annoys me that the news is made up of random crap that happens that really doesn't matter. There was a braking news story about a boat that got stuck on a beach, every one was ok yet they had to make a huge scene about it.All this goes on when there is actual news stories and people that need help like the kidnapped girls in Nigeria, but they get a 30sec slot at the end of the news.

I also think there is too many rules and expectations. One thing I don't get is apple products also. It seems like every one just needs to buy them and keep updating them but no one knows exactly why they choose apple. I hate phones and don't have one and people can't understand why.. It's simple really, I don't have the money to waste on a crap phone that brakes only to spend all my money communicating with one word texts.

People are all so judgemental these days. You need to fit into this mold that society have made for you and if you don't then you get ridiculed and picked on for it. No one can be different and we all have to be clones of sociality's image and expectation. It would be nice if people could just be themselves. It takes people that think out side the box,that are "different" to make life a bit more interesting and special.

You say I'm good or **** or whatever, then ask the checkout person or who ever is serving you how they are....you'll get used to the surprised looks after a little while...I worked in retail for a fair while, all people behind counters are just the same, people. You'd be surprised what happens when you actually spend 30 seconds to have a chat if there is no line up behind you.....but I like asking questions face to face with people :thumbup: I grew up with this **** Blender. From the 14.4kb dial up modem up....like the whole internet, you can pick it after a while, I started out here as what djdis69, til I realised it was fillied up with some decent people....so I could drop my guard a bit...facebook is a junk advertising tool for business...its easy to look through it all if you step back and look at how it works mate!!

there are not many of us, i try to tell people as much i can, as un-biased as possible. slowly but surely, people are starting to realise they do not have to be another statistic, another cog in the machine. we are individual.

Thats ****! She got both video cards and the 8month old 750watt power supply the top fan on the case and possibly the case switches and USB ports...pretty sure the video cards fried straight away cause as soon as the glass hit it the display went off...I got it off in like 3 seconds but to little to late....its done :-( looks like my next build will actually be a pc...
