I only ever use loctite on 2 bolts that go to the engine. The 2 bolts in the cam retainer plate.
The threads in the engine will strip out eventually if you use loctite on them.
Craig has your problem all sorted in the above answer's for sure.
Make sure you dont leave it too long because eventually there will be a build up of fuel and the air filter will catch fir then you will be up for a new filter.

You will be stuck fixing the bike everytime something goes wrong and be expected...
Put the screw driver in there thats equal to width of the tooth on the gear. Put in flat on the surface of the tooth. The pressure on it will be less than the pressure it goes through when riding
Wedging the backwheel wont be enough. You will get too much play.
Wedge something in the clutch ring gear. big flat blade screw driver.

The TB piston has a much bigger dome on the piston but also has much bigger valve recess' and it does not go as high into the chamber on TDC as a stock piston does.
I just did a rebuild on a 177 V2 and the...
They can fail just as quick stock or with a 184 V2.
The key to a lasting engine and trans is maintenance and using the clutch to shift up and down gears.
I have a 177 V2 (155z not ho)at the moment that has well over 100 hours on it and 3 race seasons. Original rings. Original gears.
Kick start...
