I recently purchased a used Apollo AGV-21 70cc mini bike for my 5 year old son... After looking at the VIN, I believe it's a 2008 model?? However, it's in poor shape.
I'm trying to find a parts list and repair service manual for this mini. It needs quite a bit of work...

Some of the parts I'm looking for are, rear inner tube, shifter, front wheel, plastic fairing kit, new custom sticker kit, air filter, spark plug, training wheels, handle bar, front shocks... just to name a few. lol
I'm also looking for any UPGRADES to this specific model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the plastics and stickers are CRF50 type, ebay is usually the cheapest place for them.

most bike shops would have a 10" tube for it
Spark Plug you'll need an NGK C7HSA
Uni Filters are one of the best filters you'll find
bars look on ebay again, some CRF50 Pro Taper Rocky SE's maybe ?
front wheel ebay ...

ebay china is the cheapest usually, but postage can take 2-3 weeks sometimes

i'll have a look if i can find some close to you

Very nice! I had no idea it was the CRF50 type. Thank you!

Thank you! The Daytona engine was a nice touch. :) Lol So basically anything that fits the CRF50 will fit the Apollo AGV-21

Samsung Galaxy Note 3

the Apollo was basically copied off the CRF50 in china, so most of the parts are interchangeable yeah

anything you have doubts on, most ebay sellers will verify that the parts will fit
do you have any Pitbike Dealers/Stores close to you ?
you might be able to get a bulk parts discount if you ask them nicely ?

Okay. No, unfortunately I don't believe we do...

It's starting to come together... She had sat in a open barn for over a year without running it. But the previous owner told me it ran good prior to that.
I've added two new tires/tubes, new fuel, new plastic kit, 420 chain, spark plug, cleaned the carburetor (jets were blocked and bowl had gunk in it), new 1' 1/2" UNI filter, new fuel filter, new fuel lines, new stock CDI. BUT she still won't fire... I'm wondering if the ignition coil needs replaced? Also, is there a big difference in a racing CDI as opposed to the stock? Which do you recommend? (I have a 6 pin CDI) I'm trying to locate a racing CDI with a ignition coil... However, I've noticed there are two types of ignition coils... I have been told I currently have the older version. Can I change it to the new version? Any recommendations? Quite honestly I've even thought of replacing all the wiring harnesses.

nice job mate, bet you and your son are happy with how it turned out!! :)

do you have any kinks in your fuel line, or a blocked fuel filter (if it has one) ?

i would also take the tank off, and clean it out, when they come from china they often have some plastic shavings floating around, etc.

also have you checked petc0ck of the tank? could be a blockage there too.

but i would try a new coil, if its been sitting for a while the water and condensation/moisture could get inside and reak havock. as for CDI's, i would steer clear of the performance ones. they are cheap and nasty, and will only get you stuck somewhere when it fails. which it will. just stick with the stock CDI, as theres plenty of more performance mods you can make if needed :)

Thanks! Its been a fun project. :) I have new fuel lines and fuel filter. I took off the tank and pet**** then cleaned them out and used an air compressor.

well, it sound like the coil. could also be the earth. cos its sat for a while, there might be some rust/corrosion on the frame, not allowing it earth properly ?

If you look at the picture above you can see how rusted the coil is.

so all you need is spark, fuel and air to get it running.

have you check for spark yet ?

unplug the lead off the spark plug, and remove the plug out of the head.
fit the lead back onto the plug and earth the thread against the head, then try kicking it over.
you should hear the spark clicking, and should be able to see a white spark at the plug gap.

i am guessing by your description of the carby insides, it still could be dirty in there?
if a bike sits for a long time, as the fuel evaporates it can turn to gel, or gum.
it is pretty hard to spot gum, but if you lightly scrape it it chips/comes off like a thin layer of clear paint.
and can be quite hard to remove all of it

when you removed and cleaned the jets,
did you also check that you can see light through the end of the threaded holes in the base of the carby where the 2 jets screw into ?

this photo shows the long needle jets, and the main jets below, there is also a thinner Pilot jet on the manifold side of thew Main jet too shown here
see the tiny holes across the top sections of the needle jets, you need to make sure they are all open and see through

and this photo shows how you should be able to see light through both of the holes in the base of the carby
you can only see through the left one in this shot, where the Pilot jet screws into.
this jet let enough fuel through for the bike to idle and up to 1/4 throttle.
if it is blocked, the bike will not start

with all the jets out, you need to gve it all a good blow out/through with compressed air
including the 2x small ports on the air filter side of the carby
you will feel the air coming out under the carby where the jets screw into.
another thing to check too, is if there is any dirt on the end on the mixture screw (or where it screw into)
if you take it out, and the little spring, blow compressed air though one of the small ports on the filter side of the carby, you should feel air coming out the mixture screw hole in the carby too.

when you refit the mixture screw and spring, screw it in so that it bottoms in the thread, then turn it back out 1.5 full turns.
this will be a good setting point to be able to get the bike started.

the carby will need to be tuned/adjusted once it warms up after a few minutes running.

Thanks for your detailed illustration of how to properly clean the carb and jets. Thanks to you tube, I did exactly as you explained. I could see the "light" through both jets after initially not being able to. I have the coil and cdi off the bike now. Can I go to the newer style ignition coil? Or will it not fit? Is there any benefit in doing so? Is the stock ignition coil and cdi just as good as the aftermarket brands... piranha.. ect? I've found these cdi and ignition coils on ebay... but they don't have a the 6 pin cdi and older style ignition coil...
As you can see in my attached pictures below... I have the circled type of ignition coil with a 6 pin cdi box. 4&2 pins.
Sorry, I'm a rookie to all of this. uploadfromtaptalk1397516430651.jpguploadfromtaptalk1397516451360.jpg

your original coil and cdi should/could still be working well on your bike, you may be wasting you money ?

the coil and cdi you have listed should be ok,
the 2x different style coils both work exactly the same.
just the mounting is different, that new one needs a bolt/nut through a hole on the frame.

have you got spark when you kick it over ?

that second coil you circled is exactly the same as mine, but we can get them from china including delivery to Australia for about $13.
you would be able to as well

Okay.. I just put ignition coil back on and tested for a spark. There was not one... it wouldn't even shock me after putting my hand over the plug.
