Well your current sprocket combo is a ratio of 2.69 Your wife's is 3.00 A 16 front and 45 rear will land you at 2.81...which is not quite half way between. The other way to go is down to 15 on the front....15/43 would give you 2.87 which is a bit lower again from 16/45. If you bought a 15...

On my Lifan 125 I noticed that you aren't supposed to thread the dipstick back in to take the oil level. Just sit it back in the top. I use the sight glass anyway but some engines don't have 'em. It's supposed to take 850ml.

I think the most important part of your assembly is the frame geometry. This is the frame, swinger, forks and shock. Match that all up nicely and the rest should fall into place. This is going to determine how the bike sits and handles. Things to watch would be how the swinger angle is going to...

Yep, that's what I said....you have to recoup $$$ for the parts you replaced. If you managed to do that, and you got a good price for them, and you have nothing from your original purchase in your shed...well done, you've wasted no money. If someone doesn't manage that...they have wasted money...
